A trust for all good Acacians...

Brothers,

For those of you I have not had the privilege of meeting personally, let me introduce myself. My name is Eric Schram(1124) and I am the current president of the Nebraska Chapter of Acacia's Alumni Corporation Board. I have been involved with the board since graduation in 1998. I would like to take this opportunity to update you on what the Alumni Board and Association has been doing and future plans to help continue our chapter.s growth and succeed.

First of all, the Board serves as landlord to the active chapter. We ensure that bills are paid and the house is kept in running order. Over that last couple years, the Board has overseen the installation of a new stove in the kitchen, two new furnace units, dining room improvements, new storage shed.the list goes on.

The Alumni Board also does what it can in the way of guidance for the Active Chapter. In addition to chapter advisor, the board has appointed an alumni financial advisor as a resource for the active chapter and the chapter treasurer. A new program in the setup stages headed by the chapter advisor will put other Alumni members in touch with the other executive chapter officers which will extend the resource network for the Active Chapter.

However, to continue supporting our chapter we need your help. We need your involvement. From attending our events such as Founder's Day, to active participation on the Alumni Board, your involvement will help the strength of our fraternity. At a minimum, please remain in contact with the chapter, updating the chapter with your current address and the whereabouts of any other brother you may be in contact with.
